Infant, Toddler, Child Development Centers
Cal State University Dominguez Hills California
Playfully sited within a grove of eucalyptus trees, this 8600 s.f. project consists of two diverse programs - Infant Toddler Center and Child Development Center. The building's modular construction system was key to maintaining a low cost project and a shortened construction schedule of six months. The modular units were placed on poured-in-place concrete foundations and the walls were finished with exterior cement plaster - thereby further 'connecting' the project with the adjacent conventionally-built campus buildings.
Mr. Bielski designed this project as a partner of Bielski Ladowicz Architects.
